Rapid Fire
So I recently checked out [Rapid Fire] in EoTN, and am really impressed with it. Now I know that rangers have never been a high DPS class, but there are a lot of viable options to use this ranger-oriented IAS. I primarily play PvE, so don't tell me that I'm not doing my role in the group by using this preparation. I've found that [Broad Head Arrow] does not seem as effective in PvE as 3 or 4 quicker recharging interupts, simply because of the long recharge, and how fast enemies die in PvE. Plus with good reactions, [Concussion Shot] can apply daze just as well. So I'm playing around with different builds using [Rapid Fire] and will post them when I find one that works pretty well. Anyone have any thoughts concerning [Rapid Fire]?

The problem with Rapid fire for me, is that it takes up a slot I usually fill with apply poison. Even though it means not using a constant IAS, I'd rather use a stance.

if rapid fire was made a stance, i'd use it for sure, but apply poison and read the wind are better.
but don't listen to me, i killed my ranger last month

[Read the Wind] never leaves my bar, unless I use [Barrage]/[Volley], and then it's [Splinter Weapon] that becomes locked in. I run BHA, but I don't have any IAS. I'd rather have a blocking stace. [Lightning Reflexes] doesn't recharge fast enough for my tastes.

Yeah I haven't run a bar without [Apply Poison] in a long time. But thanks to EoTN we now have [Poison Tip Signet] which allows us to replace apply poison with another prep, although poison tip sig isn't as effective as apply poison. I have found [Rapid Fire] to be useful along with [Broad Head Arrow] because of the daze effect, but I think it would be more useful in a spiker build.
I am playing around with that and will post the builds I come up with to see if you guys have any suggestions.

i used rapidfire for the turret ranger build, before they nerfed [sundering attack][penetrating attack][power shot][precision shot].
could drop any class in RA in a matter of seconds...non-melee usually hit the dirt just as they entered casting range. then they nerfed all 4 to death and i havent found a good use for rapidfire since.
now [apply poison] and [read the wind] are the most popular for interrupt builds. i prefer apply poison because you can keep poison on the entire enemy party while you interrupt heals.
i suppose there is still [dual shot][needling shot][point blank shot], but other damage enhancing preps seem to work better with that, and just use lightning reflexes for IAS.
